It is priced by working time, not by how simple the drawing looks: bold outline and flat colour have to be perfectly solid, and that takes a while. Because the thick black outline contains the ink. Pigment always spreads over the years, but in a traditional piece it spreads inside a line that stops it, so the shape stays the same. Add flat colour, with no fine gradients to lose, and you have a tattoo that still reads across the street thirty years later. It is the most cost-effective style in the long run.

You can get a custom one, and it is what we do by default. The classic repertoire — panthers, swallows, daggers, roses — is a grammar, not a closed catalogue: we change the composition, the gesture and the elements so the piece is yours. What we do not do is copy another artist's finished work line by line. At the studio in La Elipa you see the drawing before anything touches skin.

Bigger than people expect. The bold outline takes space, so on a small piece the line eats the interior and within a few years you have a blur. We tell you the minimum size your idea works at; if that does not fit you, we propose fine line, which is actually designed for small pieces. We would rather lose the booking than hand you something that ages badly.

Not necessarily. It works just as well in black only, and pure black is in fact the most durable option of all. Classic colour — red, yellow, green, blue — is what gives the old school feel, but it is your decision. We show you examples of both paths in the gallery so you choose by looking at real work, not imagining it.

Upper arm, forearm, calf, thigh and chest: surfaces with space and little distortion, which is what a bold outline asks for. Hands, fingers and the neck are worse for any style, and for this one in particular, because a thick line in a rubbing area opens sooner. We tell you before you book, at Arkadia, Ciudad Lineal.

The outline hurts more than the fill because it is a continuous, deep line — but it is done quickly. Flat colour fill is more monotonous than painful. All in all, a medium traditional piece is a perfectly manageable session, and we stop whenever you need: nobody tattoos better with a client at their limit.

It is one of the best options there is, precisely because of the bold outline and dense colour. It depends on how dark what you already have is: if it is very black, laser may be needed first. Send us a well-lit, front-on photo and we will tell you honestly whether it can be done, whether it needs laser first, or whether the honest answer is no.

Like any other, but colour is more sensitive to sun than black. Two weeks of gentle washing and cream in a thin layer, no pool, beach or sauna. After that, sunscreen for life over the area: sun fades reds and yellows far sooner than the passing of time. Pieces above 400 € include the cream.

If it works for you, the appointment is confirmed once the 50 € deposit is paid, deducted from the final price. Rescheduling with 48 h notice keeps it.
