2. Purpose and scope

This website informs about the tattooing services offered by Arkadia and allows users to request quotes and manage appointment bookings. Accessing and using this website grants the status of user and implies acceptance of the conditions set out in this Legal Notice.

3. Studio hours and location

Arkadia is at Av. del Marqués de Corbera 33, 28017 Madrid, open every day of the week from 11:00 to 21:00.

4. Terms of use

The user undertakes to make appropriate and lawful use of this website, in accordance with applicable legislation, good faith, public order and these terms. Any use of the website for unlawful or harmful purposes, or that could damage or prevent the normal operation of the site, is prohibited.

5. Booking, deposit and cancellation terms

Booking a tattoo session follows this procedure:

• Quotes are free of charge and valid for 30 calendar days from the date they are issued.
• To confirm an appointment a deposit of €50 is required, or 10% of the quote when it exceeds €600.
• The deposit must be paid within 48 hours of the quote being confirmed; if the deadline passes without payment, the reservation is released.
• If the client needs to move the appointment with at least 48 hours' notice, the deposit is kept and applied to the new date.
• Cancellations communicated outside that 48-hour window, or missed appointments, mean the deposit is forfeited.
• The deposit is deducted from the final price of the session.

6. Minors

Arkadia only tattoos adults, except for minors from 15 years of age, which requires written authorisation from the legal representative, copies of the ID of both the minor and the legal representative, and in-person verification of both at the studio before the service is provided.

7. Intellectual and industrial property

The tattoo photographs, designs, texts, logos and other content published on this website are the work of Arkadia or of its authors (tattoo artists) and are protected by intellectual and industrial property regulations. Their reproduction, distribution or public communication without the express authorisation of the owner is prohibited, except where permitted by law.

Custom designs created for a client are executed on the client's own skin; this does not transfer intellectual property rights over the design, which remain with the artist, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

8. CCTV

The studio has a CCTV system of 2 cameras, located at the entrance and on the ground floor of the premises, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The cameras do not capture audio and do not point at private areas (toilets, staff rest areas). Images are kept for a maximum of 1 month, unless they need to be kept longer to respond to a claim or a request from the police or security forces. More information in the Privacy policy.

9. Limitation of liability

Arkadia is not liable for damages that may arise from interference, interruptions, computer viruses, failures or disconnections in the operation of the electronic system caused by factors beyond Arkadia's control. It is also not responsible for the content of third-party websites that may be reached through links from this site.

10. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute arising from the use of this website or the services contracted, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals corresponding under consumer protection regulations, and otherwise to the courts of Madrid.
