Realism tattoo in Madrid
Portrait, animal and texture work in black and grey. Realism lives or dies on reference quality and on how the piece is placed on the body, so we spend time on both before any needle comes out.
What realism actually needs from you
A sharp, well-lit reference. A phone photo of a phone screen loses the detail we need to reproduce. If the reference is a person, the higher the resolution the closer the likeness will be. If you only have a low-quality image, tell us — sometimes we can work around it, sometimes we will say so honestly instead of promising a result we cannot hit.
Why placement changes the drawing
A forearm curves. A shoulder moves. A realistic piece drawn flat on paper and then dropped onto a curved surface distorts. We redraw the piece to the specific body part, and you see the stencil in place before we start. If it does not sit right, it gets moved.
Healing and how it ages
Black and grey realism relies on soft gradients, and gradients are the first thing to go if the piece is not looked after. Follow the aftercare and it settles in cleanly. Skip it and the softest greys are what you lose first.

Real work
Detail is the whole job
Black and grey realism, drawn to the body part before anything touches skin.
